Industry focus

While we are open to looking at others, our primary focus is businesses that provide mission-critical services and/or products.  Some of the characteristics of these businesses might include:

• Products and services that must be delivered on time or customers experience very significant operational disruption.

• Products and services that are government-regulated and/or require special permits because of unique hazards (e.g., radiation, hazardous materials, life safety).

• Services that require both specialized technical knowledge and capital equipment.

• Service providers that are considered "critical suppliers" by their customers and are required to carry ISO 9001, 17025 or other industry-specific quality certifications.

• Services that are considered "high risk" by their customers and require detailed safety programs.

 

There are numerous specialized services and we discover new ones all of the time, but here are some examples of the kinds of things we are looking for:

• Calibration and testing of critical equipment (e.g., MRI, CT scanner, scales, laboratory equipment)

• Maintenance and repair of critical equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, valves, turbines, cranes, freezers)

• Supply of critical spare parts and/or consumables (e.g., test specimens, gaskets, bearings, fasteners, chemicals)

• Midstream and downstream oil & gas

• Chemicals

• Electricity generation, transmission and distribution

• Manufacturing

• Healthcare

• Aviation
